Mastering dynamic sensitivity

Thai Yoga Massage is gift of loving meditation in movement . This holistic therapy uses passive yoga and an activation of the energetic lines of the receiver, to restore energetic and physical balance in the body.

Course itinerary

Upon completion of the course you will be able to give a full 1.5hr Massage to friends, family and clients.

We will practice 4 different positions during the training, in order to achieve this full body treatment.

Sequence manual

You will receive a complete manual with photos and detailed descriptions of the sequence as well as theory, philosophy and history.

What will you learn ?

History of Thai Yoga Massage and the main teachers and lineages.

Philosophy of Thai Yoga Massage based in Budhism, Yoga and Ayurveda.

Energetic lines ( sens) detailed study of their names, connections with organs, chakras and balancing techniques

Fundamental principles of how to give a massage and read energy.

How to align your own body while giving the massage.

The Doshas- how to understand your constitution and that of the receiver in order to give a harmonious massage.

Here the practitioners learn to use their complete body in harmony with the receiver, as well as a focused study on the different energy lines and how to activate them for balancing health and wellbeing.

The 5 day Yoga and Thai Massage Retreat!

During the 5 days of Yoga and Thai Massage Retreat, students participate in therapeutic yoga classes, focused in developing internal sensitivity with conscious breathing and body alignments necessary to give a Thai Massage. They will also participate in daily pranayama (breath work), Meditation and Yoga Philosophy in order to cultivate internal awareness and becoming channels of divine love and healing.

We invite you to stay in our Yoga Ashram during the program to receive the full experience of a Thai Yoga Massage training in the environment of an Ashram Yoga Retreat!

7:30am Meditation/pranayama and gentle stretching
8:30-9:30 Breakfast
9:30-10:30 Philosophy and theory of Thai massage
10:30 Yoga to prepare and become more sensitive for the Thai yoga Massage practice
1:30 Thai massage Practice
1:30-3:00pm Lunch and rest
3-4pm Group dynamic activities and theory
4pm-5:30pm Thai massage Practice
5:30pm-6:30pm Yin Yoga and integration time
6:30pm Evening Bhakti Yoga Meditation in the temple (optional)
7pm Dinner

Syam Vallabhi Devi Dasi (USA)

International Ayurveda and Yoga Therapist

Syam Vallabhi Devi Dasi, also known as Samantha Miller, is a practitioner and teacher of Traditional Thai Massage. Her journey into the healing arts began in 2001, and she has since dedicated herself to mastering and teaching this ancient practice. Syam Vallabhi’s expertise in Thai Massage is rooted in extensive training across Thailand, Laos, and other regions known for their traditional healing practices.

In addition to her specialization in Thai Massage, Syam Vallabhi is an accomplished Ayurvedic practitioner and Yoga teacher. She received her Ayurveda certification in India in 2008 and has furthered her studies with renowned Ayurvedic masters in the United States, including Divya Altar. Her deep commitment to holistic health is evident in her continuous learning and advanced certifications in Ayurveda and Panchakarma, under the guidance of Dr. Vinod in India.

Syam Vallabhi’s yoga journey has been equally profound, with mastery in Anusara Yoga, Yoga Therapy, Yin Yoga, Restorative Yoga, and Hatha Vinyasa Yoga. She is a pioneer of AcroYoga in South America and Asia, having introduced and developed this practice since 2008. In 2013, she founded the BYS 500hrs advanced studio, further establishing her influence in the yoga community.

Her comprehensive approach to wellness includes certifications in Reiki, Breema, Cranial Sacral Therapy, Yoga Anatomy, Ayurvedic Massage, and Marma Point Therapy. As a Vedic Astrologer and certified reader of the Human Design chart, Syam Vallabhi offers a holistic perspective on health and well-being.

Initiated into the Bhakti Yoga tradition by Srila Bhakti Kavi Atulananda MJ and Chaitanya ND, Syam Vallabhi integrates spiritual wisdom into her teachings and therapies. Her passion for Traditional Thai Massage and her extensive knowledge of holistic health practices empower individuals to lead balanced and vibrant lives.

International Yoga Teacher and Director, Bhakti Yoga School

Chaitanya is the Director and Founder of the Bhakti Yoga School, with ashrams in Cusco, Peru, and Cali, Colombia. With over 35 years of teaching experience and 1500+ graduated students, Chaitanya continues to share the timeless wisdom and techniques of yoga for one’s well being.

His focus is the path of Bhakti Yoga and was initiated into Indian Vedic traditions by his teacher Bhakti Kavi Atulananda Acharya Maharaj.

Chaitanya is one of the first South Americans to be certified in Vedic Astrology in India as well as to offer international yoga teacher trainings in South America.

He organises Teacher Training Courses (TTCs) for aspiring practicioners and also conducts annual workshops and retreats across Southamerica, USA, Europe and India.
